TAGBILARAN CITY – World Bank Group Executive Director Marcos Vinicius Chiliatto visited Bohol on Friday, accompanied by officials from the World Bank, DOF, DILG-7, and DPWH, as part of the preparatory work for the proposed Accelerated Water and Sanitation Project in Selected Areas (AWSPSA).
Governor Aris Aumentado said the bulk water project, to be funded by the World Bank, aims to improve water access in seven municipalities and Tagbilaran City.
The provincial government expressed gratitude for the World Bank’s commitment to fast-track the project’s approval, hoping it will soon move to implementation to ensure clean and sufficient water supply for Boholanos.
