A concerned Boholano citizen has called on Gov. Aris Aumentado to “act as the real governor” and “dismantle the ” seven little’ governors’ at the provincial Capitol.
“Pagmata Gov (Aris Aumentado). Gusto nako ma-dismantle ang ‘league of governors,’ ” said Ronie Orillosa in a press conference on Monday, Feb. 12.
However, Orillosa didn’t divulge the identities of the “seven governors”.
“Barugi nga ikaw ang Governor. Desisyun kung ikaw ang mo-desisyun, ” he added.
The presscon was attended by businessman and Abaka chairman Norris Oculam, a friend of Aumentado.
Orillosa said he has yet to talk with Aumentado about his concerns.
He said he was frustrated how the governor is running the Capitol.
“Walay mawala nako. Walay pulitiko nagpaluyo nako. Sayaw sayawan lang ta. Mag chacha… Dili na maoy tubag sa nahitabo sa Bohol. Constructive criticism gipadangat nako ni kay alarming na ang nahitabo sa Capitol,” said Orillosa.
Aumentado is set to answer the issue in a press conference on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
