CARMEN, BOHOL — Denia Deiparine of Carmen was crowned Ubi Festival Queen 2025, besting candidates from across the province in this year’s pageant celebrating Bohol’s iconic purple yam.
Crisan Rose Tabique of Valencia placed 1st Runner-Up, while Dianna Mae Bonao of Panglao was named 2nd Runner-Up.
Special awards went to:
• Katrice Alessandra Racho of Maribojoc – Best in Thematic Costume
• Denia Deiparine of Carmen – Best in Production Number
The event forms part of the province’s annual Ubi Festival, organized by the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist – Bohol.
