The provincial government of Bohol, through the Bohol Employment and Placement Office–Public Employment Service Office (Bepo-Peso), held a Pre-Employment Orientation Seminar (PEOS) for over 2,000 graduating students on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Bohol Cultural Center.
The annual seminar equips students with job-readiness skills, employment insights, and guidance on opportunities both locally and abroad.
Bepo-Peso head Maria Vilma Yorong said the activity helps participants “find not only a job, but the right job — one that matches their skills, passion, and purpose.”
Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado, in a message delivered by Yorong, urged the students to pursue their dreams with confidence, saying, “You have the talent; let us help you find the path.”
Experts from the Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Migrant Workers, and Jobs180.com discussed local and overseas employment prospects, workers’ rights, resume writing, and interview etiquette.
The initiative supports the Capitol’s Strategic Governance Roadmap, promoting inclusive growth and workforce readiness among Boholano youth.
