BOGO CITY – Residents from Polambato who evacuated to Bantaaw Cayang, across from the Beato Tommaso Maria Fusco Hope House Inc. Orphanage, due to their proximity to the sea, have returned to their community and are now sheltering in makeshift tents for survival.
According to residents, each household in Sitio Takdan 2 has set up its own tent after returning home. They are now appealing for assistance, especially for children, noting that while relief has reached families along the highways, those in coastal and remote areas remain in need.
“Any help will do, even just for the children. Many households are here, but we feel forgotten compared to those along the main roads,” residents said.
