TAGBILARAN CITY, BOHOL — Bantawan, one of the centerpiece events of Sandugo sa Bohol 2025, recorded an impressive ₱6,242,458.00 in total sales from June 16 to 30, 2025, averaging ₱416,163.87 in daily sales.
The strong sales performance is attributed to the continuous support and hands-on guidance of the Provincial Government of Bohol through the Bohol Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (BEDIPO). The office closely mentored participating concessionaires, ensuring they were equipped to manage operations effectively.
Before opening, all vendors underwent a mandatory Food Safety Seminar and a thorough orientation on market management policies and operational guidelines. BEDIPO has since maintained a steady presence at the site, conducting daily compliance audits and sales monitoring to uphold operational standards, food safety, and customer satisfaction.
“These interventions have significantly improved vendor performance and operational efficiency while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction,” BEDIPO said in a statement.
Bantawan continues to serve as one of the most anticipated attractions during the three-month-long Sandugo festivities, joining other major festival streams such as Tabo, Bibo, Tigi, Tapok, Baras, and Atiman.
Organizers say Bantawan’s success demonstrates the vital role of structured support and local enterprise promotion in driving economic activity and enhancing community celebrations.
