A juvenile Philippine serpent eagle (Spilornis holospilus) was rescued by a resident of Barangay Cantagay in Jagna town.

On a Facebook post in Global Jagna-anons, Argie Madrazo posted that the eagle was already turned-over to the nearest Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) on Tuesday morning, August 25.

The juvenile eagle was found tangled in a nylon on a coconut tree on Monday afternoon, August 24.
