Three individuals nabbed for theft in Ubay

UBAY, BOHOL — Three individuals were arrested early Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in Barangay Katarungan, Ubay, Bohol, in connection with a theft case, following the service of warrants of arrest issued by a local court.

At around 6:40 a.m., police arrested Eduardo Angco Boyles, 66, a farmer and resident of Purok 7B, Barangay Katarungan.

About 40 minutes later, two more suspects—Jenefer Boiser Boyles, 44, also a farmer from the same area, and Eulalia Mesiona Ringor, 61, a housewife from Purok 1, Barangay Katarungan—were likewise apprehended.

The arrests were carried out by the Tracker Team of Ubay Municipal Police Station (MPS), led by Chief of Police Captain Amelito M. Melloria, by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of theft under Article 308 of the Revised Penal Code.

All three suspects are facing charges under Criminal Case No. 7818-25, as ordered by Hon. Nilda Pamat Villatima, Acting Presiding Judge of the 7th Judicial Region, Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Ubay–President Carlos P. Garcia.

The warrant was issued on June 23, 2025.

Bail for each of the accused has been set at ₱6,000.

The suspects are currently under police custody for further legal proceedings.
