The members of the 15th Sangguniang Panlungsod of Tagbilaran, led by City Vice Mayor Adam Relson Jala, honored the legacy and contribution of the late Vice Governor Dionisio Victor Balite.
“During his tenure as a public official, he immensely contributed to the Province of Bohol which benefited its constituents,” part of Resolution No. 24-187, Series of 2024.
Balite served as board member of the Third District for two consecutive terms, from 2016-2022. He then became Vice Governor of the province.
He was serving as acting Governor of the province since May 28 until his untimely demise.
“His tenure as public official was marked by commitment to public service, integrity, unwavering dedication to nation-building, and deep passion for improving the lives of his constituents,” the Resolution said.
Balite’s wife, Rucela, children, and father, former Vice Governor Atty. Dionisio Balite, accepted the Resolution as the council expressed their profound sympathy and sincerest condolences to the bereaved family.
