The Tagsa family in Barangay Cabog, Clarin town in Bohol province is trying to recover from a tragic house fire.
Their the house was struck by lightning last Monday afternoon, July 1.
Jenelyn Oronan-Tagsa said no one was inside the house when the lightning occured.
She was in the hospital attending the needs of her nephew, while her husband Jeenifer was in a ranch tending cows. Their two children-aged 13 and 12 – were in the field.
Tagsa said it was their neighbors who witnesses the incident.
“They heard a loud burst of a lightning strike,” said Tagsa in local dialect.
The fire devoured the house that their neighbors could salvage any thing from the house.
The family is currently staying in a relative’s house.
