The entertainment industry on Sunday mourned the passing of multi-awarded actress Jaclyn Jose.

Born Mary Jane Santa Ana Guck on October 21, 1964, Jose’s illustrious career spanned several decades, during which she delivered unforgettable performances and garnered numerous awards.
She earned recognition from different award-giving bodies and won the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2016 for her role in Brillante Mendoza’s Ma’ Rosa.
Jaclyn Jose’s presence on the small screen was equally impactful. Her appearances in various television dramas and series resonated with audiences, showcasing her versatility as an actress.
