Another man is said to have been bitten by a snake in the town of Calape, Bohol.
Luis Jusoy, 52, while clearing the rice paddies in Barangay Bintig on Wednesday morning, Jan. 24, 2024, a snake appeared and tried to bite his face. But his finger in his left hand was bitten instead. He quickly squeezed the bitten part and returned home. He drank Tanduay, a rum, after advised by his neighbor.
However, he went to a hospital in Calape and he was immediately taken to Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Medical Center in Tagbilaran City for further treatment.
He is being cared for and is still being observed by doctors.
According to doctors, go straight to the hospital if you are bitten by a snake.
