The province of Bohol will showcase its geological wonders this year through “The Unveiling Treasures: A GeoCultural Education Campaign” as it aims to educate the public on Bohol’s diverse geological features.
The campaign seeks to highlight the indispensable role museums play in preserving cultural identity, fostering community engagement, and creating a sense of belonging.
To kick off the campaign, Grade 10 students from the Holy Spirit School-Tagbilaran participated in the program.
Bohol was declared the first United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) ‘s Global Geopark.
The National Museum of the Philippines-Bohol (NMP-Bohol), Bohol Arts and Cultural Heritage, and the Bohol Provincial Environmental and Management Office (BPEMO) will lead the campaign. (PIMO/ML)
