Former Bol-anon Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Administrator and National Youth Commission (NYC) Commissioner Benjie Oliva spent his birthday on Tuesday, Jan. 23, by conducting a medical mission in Catigbian town, Bohol.
Oliva, who was president of Rotary Club of Pasay Cyber City, was accompanied by
Pamayanang Handa (PH) Cares, doctors and medical staff of the Provincial Health Office, who offered free medical consultations and distributed free medicines.
Some 2,000 residents from Barangay Baang in Catigbian benefited from medical mission. They gathered at the town gymnasium for the free medical services. Medical practitioners from the municipal and provincial health offices conducted a free consultation, check-up and provided medicines, vitamins to the attendees.

There were 86 beneficiaries who received free wheel chairs.
Elmer Francis “Jun” Pasion, chairman of PH Cares, said there will be more scheduled medical missions in the province.
The event was also attended by Gov. Aris Aumentado, Mayor Elizabeth Mandin, board member Aldner Damalerio, and barangay officials.
Aumentado expressed gratitude to Oliva, PH Cares and Rotary Club of Pasay Cyber City for delivering the much-needed services that benefitted the people of Catigbian.
