Some localities in Bohol province that experienced heavy rains due to the shear line suspended their classes on Thursday, Nov. 16.
Following the orange rainfall warning issued by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) covering the entire Bohol island, the Tagbilaran City, Getafe, Valencia and Baclayon issued an order temporarily suspending classes in the afternoon.
“This is for the safety of the students,” Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Yap said. With a report from Helen Castano
