A man was shot dead Wednesday afternoon by still-unidentified assailants inside his home in Clarin town.
The victim was identified as Ronald Amodia Balili, 31, a resident of Purok 1 Barangay Cantuyok in Clarin town.
Accordingly, Balili was inside his house when an unidentified assailant wearing bonnet and a black jacket shot the victim.
The victim tried to run outside his house but the suspect chased him and continued shooting him that caused his death.
The suspect immediately escaped.
Police recovered four pieces of live bullets and one piece of empty shell.
The post mortem examination conducted by Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Nestor Jumao-as, found two gunshot wounds on the victim’s body, one gunshot wound at the right arm, one gunshot wound at the right cheek.
Balili just arrived in Bohol from Manila.
The family believe that personal grudge was the motive of the killing although police have yet to conclude their investigation.
