Boholano boxer Regie “Filipino Phenom” Suganob and Venezuelan’s Ronald Chacon have promised an interesting fight in the main event of “Kumong Bol-Anon XII” at Bohol Wisdom gymnasium on Saturday, Nov. 4.

Suganob will Chacon’s first Filipino opponent and his first time to fight outside Venezuela as he challenges for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) Global light flyweight title for 12 rounds promoted by PMI Bohol Boxing Promotions.

“Wala ta mahadlok ana mas excited ta ana… maoy gipangita  kontra kung asa ta masukod sa atong pagkaboxer,” said the 25-year-old Suganob from Dauis town.

Suganob failed in his bid to become a world champion after losing to International Boxing Federation (IBF) light flyweight champion Sivenathi Nontshinga by unanimous decision last July 3, 2023 in South Africa.

“No tengo miedo. Estoy preparado física y emocionalmente. Tengo un buen entrenamiento. También estoy listo para pelear contra él,” said Chacon.
