Gian Besas on Monday, Oct. 30, conceded defeat in barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan election, ending his desire to defeat incumbent barangay captain Geneson Balbin in Barangay Cogon, Tagbilaran City.
Cogon has the biggest registered voters in Bohol.
Gian is from the powerful Besas family.
“Salamat sa Tanan🧡💚🧡💚
Lami unta og malamdagan akong igsuon.Klaro na kaayo,” Besas said in his Facebook post.
He also thanked Mayor Jane Yap and former mayor Baba Yap.
“Wa gyud ko ninyo biyae,” he added.
He also thanked his leaders and family.
“I concede🧡💚Gian Besas signing off…..Salamat sa tanan,” he ended his message.
