The suspect in a spate of theft cases in Calabarzon and Manila has been arrested by the police in Ubay town in Bohol on Saturday morning, Oct. 28.
Danilo Paguio Leogo, who was hiding at his wife’s house in Barangay Guintaboan, was arrested.
Leogo is victimizing small and medium businesses in Calabarzon and Metro Manila.
Personnel of lead unit Muntinlupa City Police Station, Ayala Alabang Police Sub-Station and Ubay Police Station headed by Police Major Romar Labasbas conducted the joint operation to serve the warrant of arrest against Leogo issued by Presiding Judge Rean Arizala-Joaquin of Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Branch 3, San Pablo City.
The operation stemmed from the report of Jun Veneracion of GMA News Affairs Program, 24 Oras, tackling the nefarious activity of an unidentified male person who is the suspect in a series of theft incidents targeting small and medium businesses in Calabarzon and Metro Manila areas.
He was also the suspect in a theft incident on October 5, 2023 at a MilkTea Shop at Sitio Masagana in Barangay Alabang.
Leogo is at the custodial facility of Ubay police station pending travel authority and will be turned over to the court of origin.
