A swarm of customers could be seen at the entrance of the department store inside a mall in Tagbilaran City on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 19, 2020 disregarding health protocols.
They were hoping to avail of the sale where items were reportedly sold for 70% off.
In photos and videos posted by netizens, most were wearing face masks but were seen very close to one another. Other customers were arguing with the guards.
Some netizens noted that others fell in line who wanted to go inside and avail of the sale.
Netizens said customers were found to be violating the health protocols.
The mall management has no official statement yet regarding the event.
