TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol — A total of 37 Boholanos from Holy Name University (HNU), Bohol Institute of Technology–International College (BIT-IC), the University of Cebu, University of Bohol, and University of San Jose Recoletos (USJR) have successfully passed the September 2025 Bar Examinations, bringing pride to the province and its legal community.

From BIT-IC, the new lawyers include Atty. Aldrin Añana, Atty. Lugui Bongalos, Atty. Roldan Cañada, Atty. Donald Cur-an, Atty. Jeffrey Escaso, Atty. Roland Reggie, Atty. Victor Tesorero, and Atty. Edgar Uy.
Atty. Gala Gay Namocatcat Bolen represented the UC, while Atty. Norjana B. Saumay-Bangon passed from USJR.
The Supreme Court announced that 5,594 examinees passed the 2025 Bar Exams, according to SC Justice Amy Lazaro-Javier. Of the 13,193 registered applicants, 11,420 completed the three-day examinations held in 14 testing centers nationwide on September 7, 10, and 14.
The success of these Boholanos is celebrated not only by their families and schools but also by the wider community.
Their achievement strengthens Bohol’s presence in the legal profession and inspires future generations of lawyers from the province.
