Three persons were killed while three were hurt in a road accident along the national highway in Barangay Buenos Aires in Carmen town, Bohol Monday morning.
A report from the Carmen Police Station identified those killed as Abelardo Cagampang, Marlon Ondos and Janice BonBon- all from Davao De Oro.
The injured were identified as Lucino Cagampang, Jasper Ardones and the driver Jun Re Cagampang.
Police Staff Sergeant Rustico Bitasolo Jr, traffic investigator at Carmen Police Station, said the passengers were on their way to Carmen town.
Initial investigation revealed that the driver Jun Re Cagampang fell asleep while driving the Nissan van. The vehicle hit the Camanayon Bridge.
The victims including the driver were brought to Cong. Simeon Toribio Memorial Hospital but three of them died. The survivors are still in the hospital.
