The Tagbilaran City Police has recorded 48 index crimes from January to September.
This was disclosed by Police Executive Master Sergeant Celso Orapa during the Sept. 29 episode of the Capitol Reports.
This program is a provincial government-produced weekly show that gives updates on current events in the province.
Orapa said they recorded nine incidents under crimes against person, seven categorized as physical injuries, one each of sexual assault and homicide.
Eight of these crimes have been cleared by arrest and one declared as solved.
Meanwhile, there were 39 reported under crimes against property, five as robberies.
In this category, 32 were reported as theft while two were carnapping incidents.
Of the 39 recorded crimes, all 39 have been cleared and declared solved. (PIMO/GMC)
