Classes, work suspended in Bohol due to non-stop rains

Non-stop rains caused by a low-pressure area (LPA) and shear line resulted in the suspension of classes and work in Bohol on Thursday, Jan. 12.

Gov. Aris Aumentado issued an order suspending all classes at all levels due to rains and floods.

Work in all public institutions was alsohereby suspended.

“However, work in hospitals, and in offices performing emergency and disaster operations shall not be disrupted to ensure continuity of needed ground response and interventions,” Aumentado said in his memorandum order.

He added that suspension of work in the private sector was at the discretion of company management.
