The Rotary Club of Pasay Cyber City (RCPCC) has donated cash to the fire victims of Barangay Poblacion in Tagbilaran City.

The aid amounted to P50, 000.

It was turned-over by laywer Joan Jagonos-Oliva, past president of the RCPCC, to Seaside Neighborhood Association (SEANA) headed by Ken Requeron on Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Jagonos-Oliva was accompanied by her husband former Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) manager Benjie Oliva who earlier donated relief packs to the victims thru PH Cares.

Oliva said RCPCC committed to allocate a scholarship grant until college to Grey Manzano after his parents and her sibling died during the tragedy.

Grey, 12, survived the fire who at that time slept at the nearby church for the Misa de Gallo where he served as sacristan.

Oliva added that in January 2023, RCPCC will distribute school supplies to the students.

The fire on Dec. 23 made at least 75 families homeless.
