Three days before his term ends, outgoing Gov. Art Yap invited incoming governor Aris Aumentado on Monday, June 27, for a smooth turn-over of his administration’s current projects to the new administration.

Yap convened the meeting to inform Aumentado of the current projects in the province.

The briefing of the programs under the outgoing administration was done to ensure seamless transition of meaningful programs for the Boholanos such as the preparation and burial of the Muslim brothers and uniformed personnel, Typhoon Odette housing project and recovery plan, water project, medical scholarship program and the housing program of the provincial government.

Also present were Col. Osmundo Salibo, provincial director of Bohol Provincial Police Office; LTC Allyson Depayso, commanding officer of 47th IB; SCPO Marcelo C. Dream-Deputy Station Commander, Coast Guard Station, Mario Blasabas- Head, Phil. Veterans Office; Dimakota Alangadi-President, Muslim Community-Pob., And their colleagues in their group.

Together with Aumentado were lawyer Handel Lagunay, Romy Teruel and Gil Bongato.

Also present at the meeting were personnel of different departments.

Supporters of Yap said he had fulfilled his roles and responsibilities as the father of Bohol province, under two major crisis, Covid-19 and typhoon Odette.
