A graduate of the Bohol Island State University (BISU)-Tagbilaran ranked 4th in the latest mechanical engineering licensure examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced yesterday.

The PRC said Ralph Tusoy Ecat placed 4th with an average of 94.80. He shared the same spot with Mark Vincent Cruz Layug, a graduate from Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University in Bacolor, Pampanga, and Clynt Gumalal Bulosan from Andres Bonifacio College in Dipolog City.

This year’s 1st placer is Mark Anthony Salazar Arcayan from the Visayas State University (Visca) in Baybay City, Leyte with an average of 96.60.

PRC said that 2,121 out of 3,780 passed the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination.

BISU – Tagbilaran is the top-performing schools in the February 2022 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination as per Commission Resolution No. 2017-1058(C) series of 2017. 78 out of 86 passed the exam.
