Children aged 11 years old and below are no longer required to undergo reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) testing when traveling to Bohol.

In his Executive Order 52-C series of 2021,
Gov. Arthur Yap said that the children must be accompanied by fully vaccinated parents/guardian.

He said the province of Bohol is classified and placed under Alert Level 2 from 15-30 November 2021 as the number of active Covid-19 cases in the province has drastically decreased in the past two months.

The relatively stable Covid-19 situation and a response mechanism in place, such as the establishment and operationalization of Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities, there is a need to further relax travel protocols to encourage travel in order to jumpstart the local economy.
