The provincial government of Bohol is eyeing to inoculate about 150,000 individuals against Covid-19 during the national government’s three-day national vaccination drive from November 29 to December 1.
Dr. Cesar Tomas Lopez, chief of the Provincial Health Office and spokesperson of the Bohol Inter-Agency Task Force, said
they have lowered its target output from the initial target of 79,000 doses to be administered during the three-day drive dubbed “Bayanihan Bakunahan”. It has been adjusted to 50,000 doses to be administered per day.
Lopez said the national government’s original target was 79,000 people a day, but it was too high because many more were hesitant to vaccinate and for other reasons.
Earlier, the provincial government of Bohol organized a raffle to encourage vaccination against the dreaded Covid-19.
The “Bakuna: Sana All Modaug pa ka sa Raffle!” program will give vaccinated individuals a chance to win P2, 000.
At least 1,000 vaccinated individiuals will have to chance to win during the three-day national vaccination drive.
