A transgender woman filed her Certificate of Candidacy (COC) on Tuesday at the Comelec office in Inabanga town.
She is an independent candidate.
Fernan Anzano, who is widely known as “Lovely”‘, will run for the position of vice mayor.
A proud member of the member of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and/or questioning, and asexual and/or ally (LGBTQIA+), she vowed to fight for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community.
But she said she also wants to uplift the lives of all her fellow Inabangnons.
“Equality and love for all,” said Anzano who is also an entrepreneur and event organizer.
