Return of LSIs to Tubigon town suspended until Sept. 30

The local government of Tubigon will temporarily stop accepting locally stranded individuals (LSIs) from other provinces.In an advisory on Thursday, the LGU-Tubigon Facebook page said that the Regional Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (RIATF-EID) concurred the request of LGU- Tubigon for moratorium of acceptance of LSIs into the town until Sept. 30.It said the request for a suspension on the entry of LSIs into the town is to focus on preventing local transmissions of the disease in the town.Tubigon has 10 active cases–three were LSIs and seven are community transmissions.Due to increasing cases, the RIATF-EID also places Barangays Pooc Occidental, Centro and Cabulijan were placed on granular lockdown until September 30.As of 5 p. m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2020:Total Tubignon LSIs Arrival: 601
