Provincial board aspirant Santos “Cris” Abella filed his certificate of candidacy on Tuesday, Oct. 5.
Abella wore a business suit when he arrived at the provincial COMELEC office at noon. Since his documents were incomplete, he was asked to notarized his COC. He returned to the office at 2:30 p.m.
He run as an independent candidate for 2nd district provincial board.
Abella, a farmer, said he is an alternative candidate who vowed to help the farmers.
“Ipadayun nako nga mutaas ang presyo sa copra mahimong P40 ang palit. Mubarato sab ang presyo sa lawg sa baboy para dili namo maglisud. Mananum tang daghang saging ug lagutmon,” said Abella.
He ended the interview by singing his own composition.
