Cops destroy seized firecrackers in Bohol

Police on Monday destroyed more than P8, 220 worth of firecrackers seized from illegal vendors in Bohol before New Year’s eve.

Police Colonel Joselito Clarito, director of the Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO), led the destruction inside the Camp Francisco Dagohoy. It was witnessed by National Police Commissiom (Napolcom) Provincial Officer Atty. Peter Bill Elizade.

The seized firecrackers were soaked in water to render them useless at the headquarters.

The siezed firecrackers were confiscated in Tagbilaran City, Baclayon and Talibon towns which were not sold in designated firecracker zones in the city and were not covered with permits.
