It sounds like a nightmare. After their church wedding, the couple and their guests went to their reception venue only to find out no banquet for them.
They were scammed by their wedding planner.
Tonskie Elsisura, the photographer during the wedding day of couple Arniel and Cherry Pie on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, posted on Facebook that the couple was scammed by their event planner/coordinator (name withheld).
The couple already paid the coordinator.
Elsisura said that after the ceremony in a church in Minglanilla town, they went directly to the reception venue in Barangay Labangon in Cebu City.
However, when they arrived, there was no reception. The venue was closed.
According to the management of the venue, there was no event booked on that day.
Elsisura claimed that the last time they saw Fuentes was during the wedding preparation. And he disappeared.
