The Fourteenth Sangguniang Panlungsod approved the Barangay Ordinance of Barangay Dampas in creating an Anti-Smoking Task Force, designating smoking areas, and imposing of penalties relative to the adoption of the Comprehensive Smoke-Free Ordinance of the City Government of Tagbilaran, during their regular session on January 21, 2022 at the SP Sandugo Session Hall, as presided by City Vice Mayor Jose Antonio “Toto” S. Veloso.
This is to ensure that the barangay shall ensure and support the improvement of public morals and preserve the comfort and convenience of their inhabitants under the general welfare clause.
The Resolution is sponsored by Hon. Odysseus C. Glovasa, Chairman of the Committee on Barangay Affairs.
