Bohol was plunged into total darkness on Saturday early morning after a major power outage caused a provincial blackout.
The unscheduled massive power cut left virtually the province in the dark late.
Some residents took to social media to express their disappointment.
The interuption was also reported in Cebu and Leyte.
LeyteCo II said the outage affected the whole franchise area in Tacloban City, Palo and Babatngon at 11:54 p. m. Friday, August 21, 2021
There is no advisory yet coming from National Grid Corporation of the Philippines regarding the cause and duration of this interruption.
