The dazzling crown for the winner of the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 was revealed on Tuesday.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, MUP shared a photo of the crown called “Filipina” made by pawnshop chain Villarica.
The silver headpiece featured the colors of the Philippine flag, with blue, red, and yellow stones.
“These gems are emblems of dreams, ambition, happiness, pride, self-worth, and empowerment,” MUP said in the caption.
The organization also thanked the Villarica Pawnshop for “stepping up to the challenge and lending their expertise to create a crown that truly looks and feels special.”
MUP said the masterpiece is a “major contribution” to women empowerment and hailed Villarica for maintaining an all-female staff.
Pauline Amelinckx is the official representative of Bohol to the Miss Universe Philippines 2020.
The coronation night will be aired on GMA-7 Oct. 25.
