De La Salle University Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Health Technologies (DLSU-IBEHT), with support from the Department of Science and Technology–Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD), will organize TeknoLunas: the 1st Philippine Biomedical Engineering and Health Technologies Conference and Exhibit, an online event happening on August 25-27.

TeknoLunas centers on the theme, “Commercializing biomedical devices and health technologies for an inclusive and innovative Philippines”. It highlights the importance of commercialization and utilization of biomedical devices and health technologies, making these accessible to their beneficiaries while also promoting inclusivity and innovation. The three-day event will highlight exhibitions of innovative technologies, a research conference, pitches at the Philippine Health Research Innovations Matching Event (PHRIME), an MOU signing ceremony, and live sessions of projects and initiatives supported by DOST-PCHRD.

TeknoLunas further encourages submission of full papers or exhibit proposals on
minimally-invasive surgical devices, devices for post-operative and rehabilitative care, devices for health emergency response, smart healthcare devices and systems, strategic planning of primary health care provision, research related to COVID-19, and biomedical devices and health technologies.

Researchers, inventors, creators, and innovators are invited to promote themselves and their inventions, expand their research, attain partnerships and scholarships, and know more about the industry.

The event is OPEN FOR FREE to members of the academe, industry, government, and research organizations.
