Tourism stakeholders in Bohol get vaccinated

A special vaccination drive for tourism industry workers in Bohol province started on Friday, June 18 in Panglao town.

In this special drive, the tourism stakeholders who play a significant role in this industry would receive the first jab of Gamaleya Sputnik-V vaccine.

At least 10,000 workers are expected to be vaccinated.

Department of Tourism Sec. Bernadette Puyat earlier said that with people registering for the vaccination, the revival of the tourism industry is not far.

Although community spread was mitigated with the safety protocols already in place but through this initiative, the tourism industry as a whole will be safeguarded and protected, bringing Bohol one step closer to being the safest place for travellers.
