Bohol Governor Arthur Yap on Thursday got vaccinated with CoronaVac, Sinovac Biotech’s Covid-19 vaccine.
Ron Zapatos, a nurse at Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital administered the vaccine to the governor at the Bohol Provincial Diagnostic and Ambulatory Care Center (formerly the Bohol Medical Care Institute).
“Ganinang buntag sayo, nagpabakuna ko ug Sinovac isip pagpakita ug suporta alang sa atong padayong pagbakuna sa katawhan batok sa COVID-19. Dili kita angay nga mahadlok nga magpabakuna tungod dugang kini nga proteksyon sa atong kaugalingon batok sa COVID-19,” Yap said in a statement.
Some 17,073 individuals out of 38,494 have so far been vaccinated in Bohol by the Vaccination Team led by the Provincial Health Office.
