A minute after the twin earthquakes were felt in Carmen town, another quake struck San Miguel town on Wednesday afternoon, June 2.
A magnitude 3.2 quake hit 34 km east of San Miguel at 2:22 p. m.
Although the tremor was small enough not to cause damage, its shallow depth and vicinity to densely inhabited areas.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, at 2:21 p. m., two quakes appeared. The first 1.5 magnitude quake struck west of Carmen at a depth of 7 kilometers and a 2.5 magnitude occured east of Carmen.
The quakes were felt in Catigbian, Clarin and Trinidad towns.
