Bohol 3rd district Rep. Alexie Besas-Tutor led the groundbreaking ceremony for a new fire station building in Garcia Hernandez town Monday, March 8, 2021.
The groundbreaking is in consonance of the fire prevention month.
“Our new home,” said Bohol Provincial Fire Marshall Fire Chief Inspector Raul Bustaliño of the new station.

Bustaliño said the two-story building typical fire station is worth P7.3 million from the Bureau of Fire Modernization Fund.
“Amidst the very difficult process of securing the funds from the national government, we have been blessed to be afforded with one,” Bustaliño added.

Tutor said the new fire station is another milestone to be grateful for in Garcia Hernandez.
She said BFP is a very vital agency in protecting the lives and properties of the people.
“I don’t want Garcia Hernandez to be left behind. We will be moving forward together for making Garcia Hernandez more progressive,” Tutor said.
Also present during the ceremony was Garcia Hernandez Mayor Tita Baja that through her efforts the project came into reality.
