A 19-year-old boy was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran City in Bohol province Wednesday night, the police said.
A Tagbilaran police report said anti-narcotics agents collared
Jhonrey De Leon, a resident of Barangay Cogon, Tagbilaran City, after he sold a packet of shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in a drug transaction in Barangay Cogon around 9 p. m.
Retrieved from the suspect were 11 grams of shabu valued at P74, 800, buy-bust money, and a cellular phone used in drug transactions.
“We will do our best to serve and protect you at all cost,” Lt. Col Mary Cryal Peralta, chief of TCPS, said.
De Leon will be charged with violations of R.A. 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2012.
