Bohol Governor Arthur Yap announced that some P100 million for the immediate procurement of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines for Boholanos should it become available anytime this year.

“Atong gi-aprobahan ang lakang nga i-apil sa atong Supplemental Investment Plan ang pagpalit ug bakuna batok sa COVID-19 nga nagkantidad ug 100 Million pesos,” Yap said in his Facebook post.

“Ang Supplemental Investment Plan atong iduso ngadto sa Provincial Development Council ug Sangguniang Panlalawigan alang sa ilang pagtugot,” he added.

The amount, he said, would be used to assure that free health services are given to Boholanos against the disease.

“Ang pagpalit ug bakuna batok sa COVID-19 usa ka mahinungdanong lakang isip dugang pagpanalipod sa katawhang Bol-anon taliwala niining nagpadayong pandemya ng atong giatubang,” Yap said.
