The Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO) highlighted the good deeds of police officers in Bohol as it marked the 27th Philippine National Police (PNP) Ethics Day on Monday, January 4, 2021.

Col. Joselito Clarito, director of BPPO,
said 10 police officers received awards for the good deeds they have done in the line of duty.

Among the awardees were Major Jaime Dosdos Dulcero of Candijay Police Station and Loon Police Station under Major Norman Lobrigas Nuez.

Dulcero was awarded as best police chief regional level for spearheading activities considered as best practice and good deeds beyond his duties and functions as a law enforcer.

He was one of the operators of the program “Ayuhon Ta Balay Mo Igsuon”.

The activities included a 6 in 1 activity such as mangrove/ planting,taho feeding, giving of stuff toys, giving of relief goods, Zumba and repairing the house of Joseph Galagar and the turn-over of 1 unit pump boat held last December 13,2020 in Barangay Cogtong in Candijay town.

His commitment to his assigned tasks and to his duties that involves the community is indeed worthy for recognition. Such award will also inspire and motivate other personnel to work harder for the PNP.

The Loon Police Station was awarded Best Municipal Police Station, while Nuez was awarded as best police chief.

The Team Loon Good Cops are exemplars of community service—keeping interest and welfare of the people at heart and serving them with professionalism, morality and integrity.

Nuez, the chief of Loon Police Station, was the brainchild of Project GOOD COPS who conducted Pulis Sugod Bahay; Para Sorpresa’y iBigay in line with Adopt a Family Program, “Kapwa ko, Sagot ko”, which the marginalized families were provided with food packs that can support their needs.

“We are honored to be distinguished and have contributed to the well-being of our province and the PNP, ” said Nuez in a statement.

“In so many ways, the personnel of Loon PS a dedicated police officers that touches the life of every loonanons every day especially this pandemic,” he added.

The celebration of the 27th PNP Ethics Day is anchored on the theme: “Matapat at Marangal na Serbisyo Publiko, Alay ko sa Mamamayang Pilipino.”
