Police finally arrested a man for allegedly raping his minor daughter in Inabanga town.
The father was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 18, after continuous manhunt operation through the help of his relative who gave information on his whereabouts.
The rape allegedly happened from 2015 to 2019, according to a report.
The suspect was arrested under an arrest warrant issued by Judge Leo Moises Lison of the Regional Trial Court Branch 3, 6th Judicial Region, Tagbilaran City, for Incestous Rape (7 counts) and Sexual Assault in Relation to Republic Act 7610.
Police said the suspect will be temporarily detained at the Inabanga Police Station.
The successful arrest of the suspect was the result of an intelligence operation by the AKG-Visayas Field Unit, led by Police Colonel Salvador T. Alcayang, where the suspect’s location was tracked down after long-term operation by Bohol Provincial Police Office operatives.
