DAUIS, Bohol — A couple was arrested in a buy-bust operation that led to the confiscation of over P3.4 million worth of suspected shabu in Barangay Dao on Wednesday night, September 17.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Bohol identified the suspects as “Gabriel,” 30, a boatman, and his live-in partner “Marilyn,” 39, a massage therapist, both residents of the barangay.

Seized from the duo were 22 packs of suspected shabu weighing about 510 grams, buy-bust money, a mobile phone believed to contain drug records, and packaging materials.

Authorities said the suspects had been under surveillance for their alleged role in disposing at least a kilo of shabu monthly in the province.

They are now detained at the Dauis Municipal Police Station and face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The confiscated drugs were turned over to the PNP Bohol Forensic Unit for examination.
