Tagbilaran Bishop Abet Uy said the Diocese of Tagbilaran raised some P2.5 million for typhoon victims.
“Funds raised for the typhoon victims in Luzon already reached P2.5M Thank you all for your generosity,” said Bishop Uy on his Facebook post Thursday.
The P2,550,282.15 came from different parishes in the Diocese of Tagbilaran:

Typhoon Rolly, which made landfall on Nov. 1, affected more than 1 million people in the Bicol region, and damaged more than 145,000 houses, of which, over 35,000 were totally destroyed, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said in its latest report.
