Police arrested an alleged notorious shabu (crystal meth) peddler in a buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran City, Bohol on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 25.
Tagbilaran City Anti-illegal drug operatives nabbed Felipe Noguera Calipusan, alias “Bahal”, 25, after he sold P1,000 worth of shabu to an undercover police officer who posed as the buyer in the bust in Barangay Cogon at 5:30 p.m.
The suspect, who is included in the police list of notorious street-level drug pushers, yielded 125 grams of shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P170, 000.
Police said concerned citizens and rehabilitated drug users informed the authorities of the suspect’s illegal activities.
Calipusan is now detained at the Tagbilaran City police detention facility as charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against him.
