A graduate of the University of the Philippines Manila led 3,538 examines who passed the 2020 Physician Licensure Examination held this month, according to results posted by the Professional Regulation Commission on Thursday, November 26.
The PRC said the results were released seven working days after 4,704 examinees took for the exam conducted in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Also among this year’s passers are Boholanos – – Dr. Danielle Myr Bojo Bernaldez, Dr. Genica-Leah A. Jabines, Dr. Elizalde Pana Sajulga Jr. and Dr. Rona Marie Sevilla Namocatcat.
Dr. Barbara Dominique Laxa Balistoy, daughter of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)- Bohol head Marisol Laxa-Balistoy and Alex Balistoy.

Also passed the exam is Dr. Steffi Jasmyn Bucia Belderol, the daughter of former Tagbilaran City Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) Head Samuel Belderol and Jessamyn Bucia Belderol.

Dr. Maria Paula Patricia Aguilar Butalid, the daughter of Tagbilaran City Councilor Tim Butalid also passed the examinations.

Three Maribojocanons also passed the physican licensure examinations. They are Dr. Hazel Marie Otero Echavez, Dr. Kristine Riel Tagayuna Racines and Dr. Krissa Mae Duco Lapiz.

Loon town also produced new doctors. They are Dr. John Thaddeus Neri Campo and Dr. James Christian Ofaga Relampagos.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will be done online through PRC’s website from Jan. 11-29, 2021.
The PRC added the date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony for the new physicians will be announced on a later date.
